Stephanie Paplinskie, CSCS, MA Kinesiology

Stephanie Paplinskie is a prenatal and postpartum fitness specialist, strength and conditioning coach, entrepreneur, professor, researcher, and business owner. With over a decade of experience in prenatal and postpartum resistance training, she has worked with thousands of mothers across North America and around the world. Stephanie is currently completing her PhD in the Samuel McLaughlin Foundation Exercise and Pregnancy Lab at Western University (London, Canada), where she conducts research investigating the effects of exercise during and after pregnancy and where she is a sessional lecturer in the School of Kinesiology. She also teaches at Fanshawe College, the German Sports University (Cologne, Germany), and the University of Verona (Verona, Italy). Steph is a Rogers television personality (Baby101) and has featured publications in Shape, Strong Fitness Magazine, and Inside Fitness. Additionally, Stephanie owns and operates Precision Pregnancy and StrongHer Fitness — two business dedicated to helping soon-to-be and new moms stay active during and after their pregnancies.


Rebecca Woods, FIS

Rebecca is a Fitness Instructor Specialist (CanFit-Pro) and has volunteered alongside Stephanie in the Exercise and Pregnancy Lab (Western University) for three years. She is excited to continue working with a dynamic and motivated group of new mothers at Mom & Baby Stroller Fitness. Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition from Brescia College, and is currently working towards her Honours Specialization in Psychology. Her ultimate goal is to be an OB/GYN to help guide women in living healthy lives for themselves, their families, and the community.


Deanna Balberman, CF-L1

Deanna has worked as a group fitness coach and personal trainer for the past year and a half. She is certified as a CrossFit Level-1 instructor and loves training women of all life stages and backgrounds. She is also finishing her degree at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and is well on her way to becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Coach Dea loves talking about body image, health, food and movement. She teaches that fitness should be fun and enjoyable, rather than something we “should” do and she is excited to get to work with women and babies in this space!
