StrongHer Mom & Baby Stroller Fitness sessions include a combination of cardio, strength training, circuits, diastasis & core rehab, and connection time for you and other moms. A StrongHer Fitness prenatal and postpartum exercise specialist will guide you through each fitness session, providing options and movement variations for all fitness levels, postpartum stages, and abilities! Throughout each week of our progressive training program, your fitness, body, and confidence will be transformed!

A session of StrongHer Stroller Fitness includes the following:

Two 60-minute classes per week led by a pre-/post-natal certified exercise specialist.

Exercise variety and options for your individual needs, postpartum stage, and fitness level.

+ PLUS everyone registered in a 6-week stroller session will receive the following bonuses:

Due to COVID-19, these new guidelines will be followed to ensure the safety of all mothers, infants, and instructors;

  • All classes are capped at 20 women. If a session is sold out, please sign up on the waitlist to be notified of an opening.
  • Social distancing will be practiced throughout class.
  • No equipment sharing (including toys, baby wipes, food, etc.).
  • Infants must remain in the stroller unless being fed, have their diaper changed, or soothed.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring hand sanitizer to class.
  • COVID-19 Screening Questionnaires are to be filled out before every class.
  • If you are sick, please do not attend class.
  • If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not attend class. You may return once you can provide a negative test (or after 5 days of the initial positive test).
  • We cannot guarantee you will not contract COVID-19 from attending stroller fitness.

Make-Up Policy 

Outdoor classes run snow, rain, or shine. The only exception is in the event of a severe storm warning, lightning, or if the instructor is unable to teach (due to sickness).

If a class needs to be canceled, you will receive a notification on our private Facebook page no later than 1 hour prior to the beginning of class on the morning of your scheduled class advising you of the cancellation. All class correspondence will be posted on our private Facebook page and on Instagram. If a class is canceled due to weather or instructor sickness, a make-up class will be offered within the session.

 

Missed Classes Policy
Due to COVID restrictions, you are ONLY allowed to make up a maximum of 3 classes. We ask you to reserve makeup classes for when you absolutely cannot make a class or if you are sick. We appreciate your understanding.

Unused or unattended classes cannot be carried forward to the next stroller session.

 

Refund Policy

  1. No refunds will be granted after the Stroller Fitness session has begun.
  2. A refund may be given prior to the first class beginning, less a $20 service charge. We will credit the card you used to purchase your session online.
  3. If you cannot complete the session after it has begun for any reason, you will not receive a refund, but you may be eligible for a credit that you may apply toward any future class, workshop, or wellness service offered by StrongHer Fitness. Credits must be requested before the end of the session you are registered in.

Enrolment & Class Participant Numbers

StrongHer Fitness reserves the right to cancel a stroller session if the minimum number of participants is not reached in a given session. If this occurs stroller enrollees will be given the option to move to another stroller class or a full refund will be given.  StrongHer Fitness also reserves the right to change instructors as well as times of classes, or locations if deemed necessary due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Q&A

Q: What should I bring to a Stroller Fitness class?

A: Bring a set of hand weights (5-10lbs is ideal), water bottle, snack for after your workout, a yoga mat/towel, and proper running shoes. It is encouraged to wear layers – both for you and your baby. Be sure to eat a small breakfast/snack before coming to class.

All classes will offer numerous exercise and intensity options to accommodate your fitness level.

 

Q: How old does my baby need to be to participate in Stroller Fitness?

It is best if your baby is at least 6-8 weeks old to ensure that he/she has strong enough head and neck control.

 

Q: Do I need a special type of stroller?

No, most strollers will be fine, as long as your baby can be securely locked into the stroller itself.

 

Q: What should I do in the event I have to breastfeed my baby?

A: Many moms feed their baby just before the class starts and/or immediately following. Of course, you are always welcome to feed your baby at any point during the class.

 

Q: What happens if a class is cancelled due to weather?

A: We will always try to meet for every scheduled outdoor class – rain or shine. It is suggested that you cover your babe’s stroller in a protective weather guard on rainy days. If weather is hazardous enough to cause cancellation of a class (i.e. thundershowers/heavy rain, or below zero degree temperatures), a ‘make-up’ class will be held on the Friday of the same week or at the end of the session. Class cancellations will be posted one-hour prior to class start time on the StrongHer Fitness Instagram story and private Facebook page.

 

Q:  Once I am registered in the program, are there any refunds?
